Hmmmmm. The cats essentially function as extremely dense, hairy bookends when they're on the bed, anchoring the covers in whatever state they find them. Thus, as far as excuses go, this one is obviously pretty lame. If anything, waking up to see one of the boys on the bed further validates the truth. It's almost as if he was trying to preserve the evidence of the previous nights' injustice...
Trent sides with Keith. Go figure. He says if the cats are that dense, he would not have been able to move them. Oy!
ReplyDeleteWhat, have they sworn some sort of fealty to each other? Maybe I wasn't clear. The cat settled into position a couple of hours before we woke up - AFTER the covers had already been stolen - thus preserving the evidence of wrongs already committed. Their density proves that I didn't tamper with the evidence (see Excuse #2). Capice?
